Peattie Solar Farm

Introduction

Welcome to the project website for greentech’s proposal to develop a solar farm called Peattie Solar Farm in Perthshire, located southwest of Kettins and east of Burrelton.

We held our second consultation event on Thursday 17 October 2024, 1pm - 7pm - Kettins Community Hub, School Road, Kettins, PH13 9JL. We expect the project to be around 22MW, with solar panels set on frames in rows running east to west.

greentech has undertaken some initial site feasibility work and prepared an initial layout where we have identified setbacks, exclusion areas and landscaping opportunities to ensure that the proposal will have minimal impacts on nearby residential amenities.

A Proposal of Application Notice (PoAN) was submitted to Perth & Kinross Council in August 2024 to start a formal consultation process on our plans before a possible submission of a planning application, expected later in 2024.
